Before we picked Andy up from the humane society we had to decide what we were going to feed him. One thing I learned from my experience with Maxwell, who ended up having special dietary concerns, is the importance of a high quality diet. Dog foods run the gamut - from generic store brands to specialty boutique brands. Our vet recommends we start transitioning Andy to an adult food as soon as this last bag of puppy chow starts to run out.
